APG stocks the E70402, an AS568-402 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.6 in (40.64 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.15 in (54.61 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to ketones, dilute acids and alkalis, and brake fluid. EPDM (EPR) is valued for very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.
