-406 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

E70406 is an AS568-406 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.1 in (53.34 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.65 in (67.31 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) delivers strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The material holds up against phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, water and steam, and dilute acids and alkalis. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
