APG stocks the E70408, an AS568-408 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.35 in (59.69 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.9 in (73.66 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. It resists brake fluid, water and steam, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants.
