-412 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70412 is an AS568-412 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.85 in (72.39 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.4 in (86.36 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against water and steam, ketones, and dilute acids and alkalis. EPDM (EPR) is specified for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels.

It sees regular use in potable water applications, brake and phosphate ester systems, and outdoor equipment.
