Ordered as E70424, this is an AS568-424 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.35 in (110.49 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.9 in (124.46 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for good electrical insulating characteristics, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. The material holds up against water and steam, ozone, UV and weathering, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Verify compatibility before use with petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons.
