-425 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-425 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 4.475 in (113.67 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.025 in (127.64 mm), catalogued under part number E70425. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ketones, and brake fluid. EPDM (EPR) is specified for very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service.

Typical settings include brake and phosphate ester systems, potable water applications, and outdoor equipment.
