The E70NSF426 is an AS568-426 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.6 in (116.84 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.15 in (130.81 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for very good flexibility at low temperature, excellent hot water and steam resistance. It resists water and steam, dilute acids and alkalis, and ketones. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
