APG stocks the E70NSF438, an AS568-438 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.225 in (158.12 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.775 in (172.09 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists dilute acids and alkalis, ozone, UV and weathering, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. EPDM (EPR) delivers excellent hot water and steam resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Verify compatibility before use with petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include water and steam systems, HVAC and refrigeration, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
