-439 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

E70439 is an AS568-439 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.475 in (164.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.025 in (178.44 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against ozone, UV and weathering, brake fluid, and water and steam. EPDM (EPR) delivers excellent hot water and steam resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. Applications involving mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons call for a different compound.
