The E70442 is an AS568-442 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 7.225 in (183.52 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.775 in (197.49 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ketones, and ozone, UV and weathering. EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for very good flexibility at low temperature, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
