3MM CS X 44.2MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

Part number E3X44.2 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 44.2 mm (1.74 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 50.2 mm (1.98 in). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists water and steam, ketones, and ozone, UV and weathering. EPDM (EPR) is valued for very good flexibility at low temperature and good electrical insulating characteristics. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.

Typical settings include outdoor equipment, solar and roofing assemblies, and HVAC and refrigeration.
