E70451 is an AS568-451 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 10.975 in (278.77 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.525 in (292.74 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for very good flexibility at low temperature and good electrical insulating characteristics. It resists water and steam, brake fluid, and ozone, UV and weathering. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons.

It sees regular use in brake and phosphate ester systems, outdoor equipment, and potable water applications.
