E70453 is an AS568-453 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 11.975 in (304.17 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.525 in (318.14 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, good electrical insulating characteristics. Expect good resistance to ozone, UV and weathering, brake fluid, and dilute acids and alkalis. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons.
