This o-ring is supplied in AS568-454 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 12.475 in (316.87 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.025 in (330.84 mm), catalogued under part number E70454. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is valued for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, good electrical insulating characteristics. This material stands up to brake fluid, ketones, and ozone, UV and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C).
