E70456 is an AS568-456 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 13.475 in (342.27 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.025 in (356.24 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists brake fluid, ketones, and dilute acids and alkalis. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) delivers strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, good electrical insulating characteristics. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants.

Typical settings include outdoor equipment, HVAC and refrigeration, and solar and roofing assemblies.
