The E70461 is an AS568-461 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 15.955 in (405.26 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.505 in (419.23 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to water and steam, dilute acids and alkalis, and ketones. EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for excellent hot water and steam resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
