This o-ring is supplied in black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 50 mm (1.969 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 56 mm (2.2 in), catalogued under part number E3X50. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to ozone, UV and weathering, dilute acids and alkalis, and brake fluid. EPDM (EPR) is specified for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.
