1.5MM CS X 5.5MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

E1.5X5.5 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.5 mm (0.217 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 8.5 mm (0.33 in). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware. The catalog record notes: Metric O-RING, JIS S6.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for very good flexibility at low temperature and good electrical insulating characteristics. This material stands up to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Verify compatibility before use with mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons.
