2MM CS X 55MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

APG stocks the E2X55, a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 55 mm (2.165 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 59 mm (2.32 in). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) offers strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, very good flexibility at low temperature. Expect good resistance to ketones, water and steam, and ozone, UV and weathering. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons will shorten service life.

Typical settings include HVAC and refrigeration, brake and phosphate ester systems, and solar and roofing assemblies.
