E3X59.5 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 59.5 mm (2.343 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 65.5 mm (2.58 in). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for good electrical insulating characteristics, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. The material holds up against water and steam, ozone, UV and weathering, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
