APG stocks the E1.6X6.1, a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.1 mm (0.24 in), a cross section of 1.6 mm (0.063 in), and an outside diameter of 9.3 mm (0.37 in). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists ketones, dilute acids and alkalis, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. EPDM (EPR) is specified for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Verify compatibility before use with mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels.
