EPDM (EPR) is known for good electrical insulating characteristics, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Expect good resistance to dilute acids and alkalis, ketones, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels are present.
