1MM CS X 8MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

Ordered as E1X8, this is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8 mm (0.315 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 10 mm (0.39 in). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, very good flexibility at low temperature. The compound resists ozone, UV and weathering, brake fluid, and ketones. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C).

Typical settings include potable water applications, HVAC and refrigeration, and solar and roofing assemblies.
