Ordered as E1.5X8, this is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8 mm (0.315 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 11 mm (0.43 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The compound resists brake fluid, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, and dilute acids and alkalis. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service.
