2MM CS X 8MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

Part number E2X8 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 8 mm (0.315 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 12 mm (0.47 in). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to brake fluid, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for excellent hot water and steam resistance, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in HVAC and refrigeration, brake and phosphate ester systems, and outdoor equipment.
