2.5MM CS X 8MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

Part number E2.5X8 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 8 mm (0.315 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 13 mm (0.51 in). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to brake fluid, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is known for good electrical insulating characteristics and very good flexibility at low temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service.

Typical settings include water and steam systems, solar and roofing assemblies, and potable water applications.
