2.5MM CS X 80MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

E2.5X80 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 80 mm (3.15 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 85 mm (3.35 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) is specified for excellent hot water and steam resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Expect good resistance to ketones, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels are present.

It sees regular use in brake and phosphate ester systems, potable water applications, and water and steam systems.
