E2.5X83 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 83 mm (3.268 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 88 mm (3.46 in). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is specified for excellent hot water and steam resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Expect good resistance to ozone, UV and weathering, water and steam, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
