APG stocks the E1.9X8.9, a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8.9 mm (0.35 in), a cross section of 1.9 mm (0.075 in), and an outside diameter of 12.7 mm (0.5 in). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

EPDM (EPR) is valued for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. It resists dilute acids and alkalis, ketones, and brake fluid. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels are present.
