E3X89.5 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 89.5 mm (3.524 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 95.5 mm (3.76 in). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

EPDM (EPR) is known for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. This material stands up to phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ozone, UV and weathering, and dilute acids and alkalis. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in potable water applications, HVAC and refrigeration, and solar and roofing assemblies.
