-904 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70904 is an AS568-904 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.351 in (8.92 mm), a cross section of 0.072 in (1.83 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.495 in (12.57 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) offers excellent hot water and steam resistance, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. This material stands up to water and steam, dilute acids and alkalis, and brake fluid. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels call for a different compound.
