APG stocks the E70913, an AS568-913 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.986 in (25.04 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.218 in (30.94 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for good electrical insulating characteristics, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. The material holds up against brake fluid, ketones, and dilute acids and alkalis. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
