-916 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70916 is an AS568-916 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.171 in (29.74 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.403 in (35.64 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ketones, and ozone, UV and weathering. EPDM (EPR) is specified for very good flexibility at low temperature, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons.

Typical settings include potable water applications, outdoor equipment, and water and steam systems.
