Part number E70920 is an AS568-920 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.475 in (37.47 mm), a cross section of 0.118 in (3 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.711 in (43.46 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists dilute acids and alkalis, water and steam, and ozone, UV and weathering. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for excellent hot water and steam resistance, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance.
