-924 BLACK EPDM 70D O-RING

The E70924 is an AS568-924 black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.72 in (43.69 mm), a cross section of 0.118 in (3 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.956 in (49.68 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

EPDM (EPR) offers excellent hot water and steam resistance, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. The compound resists ozone, UV and weathering, brake fluid, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.

It sees regular use in HVAC and refrigeration, solar and roofing assemblies, and potable water applications.
