E3X99.5 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 99.5 mm (3.917 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 105.5 mm (4.15 in). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Expect good resistance to ketones, water and steam, and dilute acids and alkalis. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). Applications involving petroleum oils and fuels or aromatic hydrocarbons call for a different compound.
