E80PC031 is an AS568-031 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.739 in (44.17 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.879 in (47.73 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

EPDM (EPR) is specified for excellent hot water and steam resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. The compound resists phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, ketones, and water and steam. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants.

It sees regular use in solar and roofing assemblies, potable water applications, and outdoor equipment.
