-036 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

APG stocks the E80PC036, an AS568-036 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.364 in (60.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.504 in (63.6 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists dilute acids and alkalis, brake fluid, and ketones. EPDM (EPR) offers outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, excellent hot water and steam resistance. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels are present.

Common environments for this compound include water and steam systems, HVAC and refrigeration, and potable water applications.
