-039 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

E80PC039 is an AS568-039 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.739 in (69.57 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.879 in (73.13 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to dilute acids and alkalis, water and steam, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) offers excellent hot water and steam resistance, good electrical insulating characteristics. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). Exposure to petroleum oils and fuels or mineral oil-based lubricants will shorten service life.
