-106 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

E80PC106 is an AS568-106 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.174 in (4.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.38 in (9.65 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against water and steam, brake fluid, and ketones. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is specified for good electrical insulating characteristics and very good flexibility at low temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. Applications involving aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil-based lubricants call for a different compound.
