-116 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

The E80PC116 is an AS568-116 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.737 in (18.72 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.943 in (23.95 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to dilute acids and alkalis, brake fluid, and water and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) delivers good electrical insulating characteristics, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).

It sees regular use in outdoor equipment, solar and roofing assemblies, and brake and phosphate ester systems.

Stocked as E80PC116 and sold individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 3/4 inch.
