Part number E80PC119 is an AS568-119 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.924 in (23.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.13 in (28.7 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against brake fluid, water and steam, and ketones. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is valued for excellent hot water and steam resistance, very good flexibility at low temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).
