Part number E80PC136 is an AS568-136 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.987 in (50.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.193 in (55.7 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for good electrical insulating characteristics and very good flexibility at low temperature. The compound resists ozone, UV and weathering, ketones, and dilute acids and alkalis. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service.

Typical settings include brake and phosphate ester systems, solar and roofing assemblies, and water and steam systems.
