-145 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

APG stocks the E80PC145, an AS568-145 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.55 in (64.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.756 in (70 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to dilute acids and alkalis, brake fluid, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for good electrical insulating characteristics and very good flexibility at low temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels are present.

Common environments for this compound include potable water applications, brake and phosphate ester systems, and water and steam systems.
