Ordered as E80PC149, this is an AS568-149 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.8 in (71.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.006 in (76.35 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is widely chosen for very good flexibility at low temperature and good electrical insulating characteristics. Expect good resistance to ketones, brake fluid, and ozone, UV and weathering. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.

It sees regular use in potable water applications, water and steam systems, and solar and roofing assemblies.
