EPDM (EPR) is specified here for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, excellent hot water and steam resistance. It resists dilute acids and alkalis, ketones, and ozone, UV and weathering. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels are present.
