-230 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

APG stocks the E80PC230, an AS568-230 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.484 in (63.09 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.762 in (70.15 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. The compound resists water and steam, ketones, and dilute acids and alkalis. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum oils and fuels are present.

It sees regular use in outdoor equipment, HVAC and refrigeration, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
