Ordered as E80PC232, this is an AS568-232 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.734 in (69.44 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.012 in (76.5 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, EPDM (EPR) is valued for outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance, strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations. This material stands up to dilute acids and alkalis, ketones, and ozone, UV and weathering. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
