The E80PC240 is an AS568-240 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.734 in (94.84 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.012 in (101.9 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists brake fluid, ketones, and dilute acids and alkalis. That behavior comes from the compound itself: EPDM (EPR) is valued for good electrical insulating characteristics and very good flexibility at low temperature. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C). It should not be specified for service in mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons.
