-257 BLACK EPDM 80D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-257 black EPDM (EPR) 80 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 5.859 in (148.82 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.137 in (155.88 mm), catalogued under part number E80PC257. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to brake fluid, ketones, and phosphate ester hydraulic fluids. EPDM (EPR) is specified for good electrical insulating characteristics and very good flexibility at low temperature. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 300°F (148.9°C).

Common environments for this compound include potable water applications, water and steam systems, and brake and phosphate ester systems.
